The Reinert Center is marking a successful first semester of its new Online University Teaching Skills Certificate with 13 members of SLU’s teaching community enrolling in the certificate.
In addition to offering two sessions of the Introduction to Online Teaching course taken by 28 instructors, Reinert Center staff facilitated two week-long courses, engaging online learners and universal design, this fall.
Registration is open for spring courses on assessment and rubrics, in addition to Introduction to Online Teaching. Summer offerings will include sessions on equity and inclusion in the online environment, and reconceptualizing the lecture.
