New Series: Resources Revisited

by Robert Cole, Program Director, Reinert Center

The Reinert Center would like to introduce you to a new feature, Resources Revisited. In this feature we will present some resources that are already available to the SLU community but may be especially useful at a given moment in the academic year.

At this moment, we are thinking about moving toward final exams and the end of the semester. For this initial offering, the Center would like to provide some resources related to assessment. We have resources addressing Alternative Summative Assessments in Asynchronous Distance Learning Courses, Grounding Assessment in Course Experiences, and Designing Exams for International Students that may be of use as we begin thinking about finals. In addition, resources addressing Supporting Affective Executive Functioning Skill and Alternative Grading Resources may also be useful whether thinking about final exams or other summative assessments.

Of course, there are many more resources on a variety of topics on our website. We also are always here to talk with you individually should you desire a consultation. Please feel free to complete the consultation request at this link.
