Is learning more about online teaching part of your personal development plan for summer?
The Reinert Center is now accepting registrations for the online seminar, Introduction to Online Teaching. The seminar, which will be conducted completely online through Blackboard, provides a pedagogical foundation for Saint Louis University faculty who are new to the online teaching environment. Please note: for faculty who have not received preparation related to teaching in the online environment, this course or its equivalent is now required for teaching online courses at SLU.
Participants will work asynchronously, with no face-to-face meetings. The seminar requires a commitment of  approximately three hours a week over a four-week period to complete. By the end of the seminar, participants will have a draft of a design plan for an online course.
The seminar will run Tuesday May 21-Tuesday June 18, 2019.
